Thanks to generous donations, the College of Agriculture is in the midst of creating and campainging for a formal precision agriculture program and invest in its opportunities for the state of Montana.
This is not just research; it is producer-engaged research. We can do it in our university fields, but also in producer fields. Doing research in producer fields is the best way to engage a producer. This allows them to become knowledgeable, see the results firsthand and spread the word to their neighbors and friends and keep the conversation moving.
